Jean was born and brought up in Leicester. She was an only child of working class parents. Jean's father was Irish - Jean always felt an inner connection to Ireland and to Celtic Britain.

Jean was forever striving to find beauty and truth of people in her creative artistry, making thereby an influence to many peoples’ lives.

Her gypsy Soul came to the fore at many occasions… One coworker at Coleg Elidyr called Jean’s eurythmy ‘surprisingly earthed’ whilst other peoples’ memories say that Jean’s sanguine butterfly Soul came to the fore for them.

Colourful. That's for sure.
