JEAN LYNCH
August 30th 1922 -October 1st 2010.
LIFE AND WORK
Jean’s life story is an intriguing one, full of awe and wonder, filled with an extremely creative sense of direction.
Some of us will have a little giggle with that word ‘direction’, as we know Jean to be lost in time or place - sensationally late at meetings or even late with a job application (only 3 weeks!). She got the job, by the way….
Jean has left us an absolute Legacy of Music, Plays, Songs.
Jean had a natural way of communicating, an empathy with people of all directions of Life. Jean worked hard and was keen, she searched below the surface, looked for true meaning, and was forever curious.
This searching, this inner quest for meaning emerged in her adolescence during her training as an infants teacher and came to the fore when Jean was teaching at the Isles of Scilly. She was decades ahead of her time.

With this website, we hope to give you a mere insight, a glimpse of Jean’s colourful, creative and imaginary soul. We do not claim to have recorded all of her work. Please use ‘Contact’ for more information. You can also check out the Blog to which we regularly add music sheets.
